ACCES Responds to Syrian Refugee Arrivals in our Communities

ACCES Employment is fully prepared to support the unique employment needs of Syrian refugees and their sponsors in our communities.

Syrian Refugees will benefit from ACCES’s current roster of programs as well as some customized services. Working closely with other community organizations, ACCES contributes to the continuum of support available to Syrian refugees in the Greater Toronto Area.

Syrian Refugee Services & Programs at ACCES Employment

ACCES Employment provides employment and job search services that are customized to meet the unique needs of newcomers to Canada. Working with the wider settlement community, ACCES Employment is actively providing support to Syrian refugees and their sponsors.

Job Search Services and Programs:

ACCES Employment offers job search services and programs, specializing in supporting new Canadians with starting their career. Visit our services and programs page to see a complete list of our programs. We offer a number of sector-specific programs in the following areas: Engineering, Financial Services, Human Resources, Information Technology, Sales and Marketing and Supply Chain.

Practicing and Learning English

Our Talk English Café program offers informal drop-in sessions where participants practice their English conversation skills with a language instructor. Each location offers sessions each week. Language for Workplace Connections is a free five-week program that helps participants to prepare for the Canadian workplace and to improve their English language and conversation skills.
