DESCRIPTION:LIUNA Local 183 Training Centre Visit for\nACCES Employment clients. \nSpaces are limited! The first 20 clients to register will secure a spot for the LiUNA Local 183 Training Centre visit. Once the event is full\, additional registrants will be placed on a waitlist. ACCES will work with LiUNA 183 to arrange another session if there is sufficient interest.\n\nACCES Employment’s Constructing a Future Workforce Program is pleased to offer clients an exclusive opportunity to visit the LIUNA Local 183 Training Centre\, one of Ontario’s premier training institutions for careers in the unionized construction industry.\nDuring this site visit\, participants will gain firsthand exposure to the training\, apprenticeship\, and employment pathways available through LIUNA Local 183. Clients will learn how the union supports skilled trades professionals through industry-recognized training\, health and safety certifications\, wage progression\, benefits\, pension plans\, and long-term career development opportunities.\n\nWhat Participants Will Experience\n	• Guided tour of the LIUNA training facilities and learning environments.\n• Overview of apprenticeship and pre-apprenticeship opportunities.\n• Information on careers in construction\, infrastructure\, road building\, sewer and watermain\, concrete\, restoration\, and other labourer-related trades.\n• Discussion on union membership\, wages\, benefits\, and pension opportunities.\n• Networking opportunities with training instructors\, union representatives\, and industry professionals.\n• Guidance on the recruitment process and pathways into the construction sector.\n\nLearning Outcomes\nBy attending this visit\, participants will:\n• Better understand careers available in Ontario’s construction industry.\n• Learn how unionized apprenticeship pathways support career growth.\n• Gain insight into industry expectations and workplace safety requirements.\n• Explore employment opportunities and training supports available through LIUNA Local 183.\n• Build connections that can support their transition into the skilled trades workforce.\n\nAbout LIUNA Local 183\nLIUNA Local 183 is the largest construction local union in North America\, representing more than 60\,000 members across Southern Ontario.
