IKEA Customer Experience Training Information Session

With IKEA’s focus on diversity and inclusion, this program supports newcomers with lived refugee experience in transitioning into the workforce through mentorship, placement (paid internship) and employment. People who have achieved CLB 5+ are welcome to enroll in the 5-day Customer Experience Training program, where they will receive IKEA-centric customer service training and certification, an ALiGN assessment, job search skills, and language training in addition to post-program one-on-one coaching. Graduates will be supported in pursuing their next steps whether at IKEA or with a different employer.

This information session introduces the program to potential participants while also providing overall job search advice.

The Supply Chain Connections program assists internationally-trained professionals with moving into a range of positions within the sector. The program features an orientation to the supply chain sector in Canada, sector-specific workplace skills and connections with employers in the Supply Chain field. After participants find work, they can receive on-going coaching with business communication and language skills.
