Vallery Braganza

Vallery Braganza arrived as newcomer to Canada in May 2020, in the middle of the global COVID-19 pandemic. She arrived as a Supply Chain professional with a background in Procurement, Project Management and Engineering. She joined ACCES almost immediately because she had seen positive reviews of our Bridging programs. She was eager to enroll in Supply Chain Connections and find suitable employment in her field. Vallery knew she would be facing several challenges including a lack of opportunity because of the global pandemic and having to gain more insight into the labour market in Canada.

Vallery was completely committed to her job search training at ACCES. As she reflects on her experience she describes how valuable the Supply Chain Connections program was to her employment aspirations:

“I was able to learn and understand important topics such as how the Canadian job market works, how to find data on the current market trends, detailed information on Canadian culture and some great tips on how to market myself to employers, which ultimately helped me gain employment.”

Despite the challenge of trying to find work during the pandemic, Vallery was able to interview and get a job offer from Kone Elevators & Escalators as a Branch Coordinator.

“I would like to say “Thank You” to the entire team at ACCES Employment for giving me the opportunity to be a part of this amazing Supply Chain Connections Cohort-10. I have gained a lot of great insights and everyone, from the Project manager to the Program facilitator and including the coaches, were great. Amazing Bridging Program. Would definitely recommend this to my friends.”
