BMO Introduces New Recruitment Program in Partnership with ACCES
Toronto, August 10, 2022 ACCES and BMO have a longstanding partnership and continue to collaborate to make a difference in the lives of newcomers to Canada. In addition to sponsoring a guest-speaker series at ACCES, BMO continues to support various ACCES hiring events including targeted sessions for Afghan Refugees and Ukrainian arrivals. ACCES has helped BMO place over 350 newcomers into roles in Canada and continue to collaborate to fill high-priority roles in many lines of business including Personal and Business Banking, Technology, Operations, and more. Case Study: ACCES Harnesses AI to boost Service Capacity
In January 2021, ACCES launched VERA (Virtual Employment and Resource Attendant), an innovative AI solution that is providing much needed employment services online alongside 24/7 job search support for jobseekers in the Greater Toronto Area, across Canada, and to pre-arrival newcomers around the world. VERA is one of the first AI-based chatbot solutions to be fully deployed in the non-profit employment services sector, addressing multiple areas of service delivery including referrals to specific programs at ACCES, event registrations, and intelligent responses to frequently asked questions.
