On May 22, 2024, we hosted a Job Fair and Learning Symposium, featuring inspiring addresses from Mayor Olivia Chow and the Hon. David Piccini, Minister of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development. Mayor Chow highlighted the importance of inclusive economic initiatives, while Minister Piccini underscored the need to remove barriers for skilled newcomers, affirming his support for ACCES Employment’s programs.

Funded by last year’s World of Difference campaign, the event connected jobseekers with over 20 leading employers, including TD, EY, IBM SkillsBuild, and Interac Corp., promoting financial literacy and economic empowerment. Thank you to our donors, partners, and everyone who made this event a success. Together, we’re building a future where newcomers feel valued and empowered to achieve their goals.
