Connecting to Careers in Construction: Pre-Apprenticeship Training is a free, 16-week program designed to prepare individuals for careers in the skilled trades. The program includes an 8-week paid placement and focuses on developing essential employment readiness skills to support entry into apprenticeship and career pathways in the construction industry. Participants will receive in-depth training in carpentry as the primary trade, while also gaining exposure to secondary trades such as sheet metal work, brick and stone masonry, and construction craft work.
