Are you thinking about beginning your job search but not sure where to start? INSPIRE is here to help! This is a free, four-week pre-employment program that will help you build confidence and develop the skills needed to start your job search.
Please note that this program is only available at the Toronto, North York, and Scarborough ACCES Employment locations.
Program Components
This 4-week program offers a dynamic, three-day hybrid format that combines in-person and virtual sessions. Designed to support individuals from diverse backgrounds, you’ll work to build confidence and develop essential job search skills to take the first steps toward meaningful employment.
The program will cover:
1. Foundations for Success
- Build essential life skills and confidence
- Participate in career assessments
- Improve digital literacy
- Connect with community resources and settlement agencies
2. Navigating for the Future
- Create a personalized career map
- Understand labour market trends
- Develop a professional LinkedIn profile
- Access networking events and opportunities
3. Career Launch Pad
- Craft a strong resume and cover letter
- Practice interview preparation
- Gain access to IBM SkillsBuild for job-ready training

Upon successful completion of the program, you will be matched with an Employment Consultant through Integrated Employment Services (IES).
Program Eligibility
To join, you must be:
- A resident of Ontario
- Of legal working age
- Eligible to work in Canada (including open work permit holders)
- Unemployed and not currently enrolled in IES or another Employment Ontario Program
