Career Pathways for Newcomer Women (CPNW) is designed to support professional newcomer women in securing employment that utilizes their skills and experience. In addition to guiding you in exploring a range of career paths that will support your short and long-term success in the labour market, you will focus on building 21st century skills, receive extensive employment coaching and regularly connect with employers and mentors. The program will equip you with the skills, confidence and professional network to thrive in fast-paced and changing work environments.

- 5-week program
- Orientation to Canadian Workplace Culture, technology sector in Canada and the expectations of employers in the sector
- Recognize the skills you have and build on the Future Skills you need to succeed in Canadian workplaces
- One-to-one support from an Employment Consultant who is knowledgeable about the sector
- Recognize the skills that you have and build on the Essential Skills for the Future of Work
- Create an individualized Action Plan and Career Path that guide your journey into work
- Receive individualized employment counselling and job development support to help you find a job where you can succeed
- Benefit from a flexible program that combines large and small group sessions, one-on-one supports and digital tools
- Currently living in Ontario
- Visible minority newcomer woman
- Post-secondary degree holder
- Canadian Language Benchmark 7 or higher
- Permanent Resident or Convention Refugee
