Career Pathways for Newcomer Women (CPNW) is designed to support professional newcomer women to secure viable employment that utilizes their skills and experience. In addition to guiding you in exploring a range of career paths that will support your short and long-term success in the labour market, you will acquire future skills, receive extensive employment coaching, and regularly connect with employers and mentors. The program will equip you with the skills, confidence and professional network necessary to thrive in fast-paced and changing work environments.
Program Components
- 5-week program
- Orientation to Canadian workplace culture and the expectations of employers in the chosen sector
- Leverage existing skills and develop future skills necessary to succeed in Canadian workplaces
- One-to-one support from an Employment Consultant who is knowledgeable about the labour market

- Currently living in Ontario
- Visible minority newcomer woman
- Post-secondary degree holder
- Canadian Language Benchmark 7 or higher
- Permanent Resident or Convention Refugee

Career Pathways for Newcomer Women is free of charge for eligible clients through funding provided by the Government of Canada.
