Connecting to Nuclear Jobs in Ontario is a province-wide online program that prepares participants for careers in Ontario’s growing nuclear energy sector. Over eight weeks, participants gain industry knowledge, an understanding of key regulations, and the skills needed to pursue opportunities in engineering, project controls, and related fields.

The program includes the Project Controls and Leadership Fundamentals Micro-certificate, and is funded by the Government of Ontario. It was developed in collaboration with Bruce Power and is delivered in partnership with Georgian College.

  • Online learning modules covering renewable energy, health and safety, workplace communication, and job search skills

  • Employment preparation and job search support, including resume writing, interview preparation, social media, and cold calling
  • One-to-one coaching and job retention support (as needed)

To be eligible for this program, applicants must:

  • Reside in Ontario
  • Be legally authorized to work in Canada (e.g., Permanent Resident, Canadian Citizen, Refugee Claimant with a valid work permit, Convention Refugee, CUAET holder, Federal Skilled Worker, or Provincial Nominee)
  • Have at least one year of recent, relevant experience in engineering or project management
  • Hold a degree or diploma in engineering or a technical field equivalent to a Canadian degree or diploma

  • Cohort 2: 19 Oct – 11 Dec, 202
  • Cohort 3:  4 Jan – 26 Feb, 2027
  • Cohort 4:  1 Mar – 23 Apr, 2027
